This totally varies based on competition, location, style, and demand. If you've run ads yourself before (or even just boosted a post), you may have an idea what yours could be. If not, we recommend being conservative and setting this somewhere between $8-$10.

For Traditional, Flash & Small-Scale Artists: This average is based on our client base which is predominantly neo-traditional, Japanese, and realism artists doing large-scale work. If you primarily do traditional, flash, palm-sized pieces, or shorter sessions, your average tattoo cost will be significantly lower. However, smaller tattoos typically have higher conversion rates (25-35% vs 15-20% for large work), which often balances out overall revenue. For more accurate results, enter your day rate as a half-day rate or typical session length you do most often.
